The 2012 Fall Challenge will allow students to grapple with important telecommunications issues while developing their oral advocacy skills in a mock FCC hearing experience. The competition is open to law students and ITP students. the final presentations take place Saturday, November 10th at 9am.

Participants will be grouped into teams of 3-4, and each team will be assigned an interested party to represent. The teams will argue the interests of their parties in a hearing format before a panel of judges. The judges will be from communications companies, law firms, and consulting firms. Many judges have volunteered because they are interested in hiring participants, and many judges have hired student competitors in the past.

The judges will pick first, second, and third place teams, which will receive cash awards. The amount of awards will be announced before the competition.
