The University of Colorado at Boulder's Interdisciplinary Telecommunications Program (ITP) and the College of Engineering and Applied Science offer several outstanding, one-of-a-kind telecommunications graduate degrees and certificate programs.
Master's Degree (33 credit hours):
Master of Science in Telecommunications—2 year interdisciplinary degree with work in the technology, networking, economics, business, and policy of communications.
NOTE: If you start in Spring or Fall, you can complete the degree in as little as 18 months.
PhD Degree (60 credit hours):
*NEW Doctor of Philosophy in Telecommunications—terminal degree with work in the technology, business practices, policy, and economics of communications for individuals seeking a technical or research career in telecommunications.
Energy Communication Networks—covers fundamentals of communication systems, data communications, energy systems, and smart grid technologies.
Network Architecture—covers fundamentals of how networks operate, how to configure these networks, and how to approach network design in a practical manner.
Telecommunications Policy—provides expertise in the complex and continually changing legal, political, and regulatory dynamics that characterize the communications industry
Computer and Network Security—covers a wide range of security topics and includes not only the fundamentals of securing networks, but also how to approach security in a practical manner with perspectives ranging from technical theory to legal procedures.
Wireless Networks and Technologies—covers a range of wireless communication and LAN issues, and includes topics from technical theory to economic and legal considerations.

Bachelor of Science, Information Management and Master of Science, Telecommunications— a course of study in which some courses can apply against both the BS, Information Management and the MS, Telecommunications.
Master of Science, Telecommunications and Master of Business Administration—a course of study in which some courses can apply against both the MBA and the MS, Telecommunications.
Master of Science, Telecommunications and Master of Engineering in Engineering Management—a course of study in which some courses can apply against both the ME degree from the Engineering Management Program and the MS, Telecommunications.
