Terry Mayes

Director of Academic Programs and Assessment, College of Engineering and Applied Science, University of Colorado at Boulder

Terry currently serves as Director of Academic Programs and Assessment at the College of Engineering. Her responsibilities include helping the College prepare for a successful accreditation review, improving the quality of the College's undergraduate advising program, and broadening the active learning experiences available to undergraduate students. Prior to this position, Terry worked for nearly five years with the College of Engineering development team, including serving as Interim Director for a year. Terry's background includes nearly twenty years at U S WEST in a variety of positions (Program Office Director at U S WEST Advanced Technologies, Regulatory Expert Witness, Product Manager, Public Relations Manager, Programmer) and 2½ years at the Dawson School as their Director of Institutional Advancement (Development, Event Planning and Public Relations). Terry's educational background includes a BS in Business from CU in 1978, an MBA specializing in Information Systems from CU in 1982, and an MS in Telecommunications from CU's College of Engineering in 1990.
