Bio
Ashish is a Senior Consultant in the Risk Consulting practice at Erix Advisors, a professional services firm formed by a group of former Arthur Anderson partners, with the objective of providing the best value, high quality risk consulting advice anywhere in the world. He is based out of the Mumbai office.

Prior to joining Erix, Ashish worked as a business associate for Reliance Infocomm, a leading CDMA service provider in India. He was responsible for project planning and execution of the of the end-to-end business processes for the Reliance Broadband Initiative. Prior to that, Ashish worked on the LEVANT (Levels of Anonymity and Traceability) project at CERT, Software Engineering Institute at Carnegie Mellon University. He was involved in technical research to develop protocols and policies that effectively balance privacy rights with the traceability needed for Internet and communications security.  

Ashish is interested in Telecom Policy/Regulation and has worked extensively on the same both in India and in the United States. While pursuing his Masters at ITP, he interned at the Federal Communications Commission where he worked on competing broadband technologies and their policy implications. This assignment required critiquing the service delivery aspects of broadband ISPs (access, interconnection and pricing), analyzing the potential ways of service discrimination by the broadband access providers and the economic incentives behind  them.
