Bio

Brad Hughes, an ITP alum, has 29+ years in telecom, including marketing and technical consulting responsibilities at AT&T, product development and product management responsibilities at US WEST, and market intelligence/corporate strategy responsibilities at Qwest.

He retired from the Bell System (after 29 years) in 2008 and is currently Vice President of Industry Analysis at Teological Systems based in McLean, VA http://www.telogicalsystems.com/v.php?pg=61

He attributes any career success to the interdisciplinary approach advanced by the CU ITP.

After completing the ITP program, Brad completed international telecom assignments in Russia and Germany and was appointed a loaned executive to the University of Colorado at Denver College of Engineering. His recent focus has been on competitive intelligence and corporate strategy/analysis. He holds a current Top Secret security clearance from the U.S. Government and is a past member of several High IQ societies, including Mensa, the Intertel Society, the Triple Nine Society, and International Society for Philosophical Inquiry. He is a biographee of record in Who's Who in America

Education

Brad holds four additional degrees beyond the MS in Telecommunications from the CU ITP program, including an MBA, a BS in Business, a BS in Journalism (all from the University of Colorado). He also holds an undergraduate degree from Oakland College in Michigan.
