Bio
Kumar Joshi is an Associate within the Information Risk Management group at KPMG and is based out of the Northern Virginia/Washington DC office. Kumar has been heavily involved in integrated audit engagements within the Telecom, Financial and Retail segments. Kumar has also been working extensively on business development efforts within the domain of Telecom Public Policy and Regulation.
Kumar has formal education as well as work internship experience in the technical, business, management and regulatory aspects of telecommunications. Kumar's internships in the Telecom industry have been in the realm of public policy, corporate strategy as well as technical core network development (at MCI Communications and Level 3 Communications). Kumar has worked on projects involving the need for combined regulatory, technical and business (strategy) skills and knowledge.
Education
Kumar holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BE) from the University of Bombay and an MS in Interdisciplinary Telecommunications from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
