Bio

Paul Daubitz has over 40 years experience in the management, planning policymaking and solution development of large information technology applications.  During this time he has been a leader in the design, specification and implementation of state of the art Telecommunication Systems.  He has extensive experience in the deployment and management of major telecommunications voice, data, fiber optic, cable infrastructure,  wireless, call centers and networks.  He has been an expert witness before The Massachusetts Department of Public Utilities, The Federal Communications Commission and other State and Federal Jurisdictions.

He started his career with New England Telephone where he held positions in the marketing Department and with the Corporate General Staff.  For over five years Mr. Daubitz was telecommunications manager and planner for the Massachusetts State Government.  In that position he was responsible for creating the State's Office of Telecommunications.  His duties involved overall responsibility for all telecommunication services including telephone, data, radio and microwave.  He implemented the Commonwealth's administrative Network which has grown to be the largest such network in New England.

He is a Past President and member of the Society of Telecommunications Consultants.  He also maintains memberships in the Institute for Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE), Association of Public Safety Communications Officials International (APCO) and BICSI a telecommunications association that specializes in wiring distribution, infrastructure and networks.  He is a sought-after lecturer, an accomplished author and contributor to publications such as Service Level News Letter, Business Communications Review, Network World, The Office and Communications News.  His books include The Public Managers Phone Book and The Complete Guide to Buying a Telephone System. 

Mr. Daubitz is the recipient of a Boys Town Extraordinary Merit Award, for his outstanding service in assisting with their telecommunications needs.  Mr. Daubitz received the first Outstanding Alumni Award from the Interdisciplinary Telecommunications Program at the University of Colorado.
