Bio
In addition to his teaching responsibilities in ITP, Patrick S. Ryan practices high technology law and private international law in Denver. Prior to joining CU, Patrick S. Ryan was lecturer and researcher at the Interdisciplinary Center for Law & Information Technology at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Director of Network Implementation for Broadnet Europe, SPRL (a former subsidiary of Comcast), Director at Tetra Tech Communications and Founder and Managing Director of its German subsidiary. In these roles Patrick supervised the deployment of several wireless networks in Canada, Brazil, Germany, Czech Republic, Spain, Switzerland, and the USA. Many of his writings are available on SSRN. In addition to his responsibilities as Faculty Director, Patrick S. Ryan practices high technology law and private international law in Denver. He wrote his Ph.D dissertation on spectrum management and has special interest in municipal wireless deployments.
