Degree Timelines

Degrees can be earned in varying timeframes, typlically full-time students earn their degree in 24 months or follow an accellerated 18-month plan.  Students may also take courses part-time as long as the degree is completed within 4 years (6 years for ME).

Degree Timeline (24 months)

Select courses Communicate with your advisor. Transfer non-degree courses for credit towards your degree.   Complete graduation paperwork by posted Grad School deadlines.

 

Complete a degree plan and seek advisor approval.

Note: Students who wish to graduate in 18 months must generally start their studies during the Spring semester due to the sequencing of the Research Methods and Capstone/Thesis series. If a student that begins in the Fall wishes to participate in the accelerated program, he or she must submit an application at the beginning of the Fall semester and establish significant research and/or publication history and to show that he or she has a similar level of academic experience as a second-year student.
